2023 Summer Bridge Institute
Welcome teachers!
The Annual Summer Bridge Program Institute kicks off the university/high school co-teaching partnership for the 22-23 school year, focusing on teaching and learning for the upcoming Bridge Program 3117 courses. Register below according to your language and year of teaching in the Bridge Program.
Dates: August 2-4, 2023
Location: University of Utah main campus, LNCO Humanities Building
Time: 9am-4pm
Cost: Free!
Housing:HOUSING REQUEST DEADLINE WAS APRIL 3, 2023. If you registered for housing, you will be contacted with further details. On-campus lodging at the Lassonde Studios are available for participants living 50 miles or more from the University of Utah campus.
You may buy or bring your own lunch. Join us to walk over to the Student Union each day to socialize with colleagues. You can buy lunches for around $10, or bring your own lunch and eat together in the Union atrium or picnic tables.
Year 1 (teaching a Bridge course) university and high school instructors: attend days 1, 2, & 3
Years 2-3 (teaching a Bridge course) university and high school instructors: attend days 2 & 3
- After completing Years 1, 2, and 3 (and all 3 courses), attendance will be:
- Day 1 Optional
- Day 2 Optional
- Day 3 Required of all instructors

K-12 USBE Credit and DLI Endorsement
- All high school Bridge Program instructors are required to complete their DLI Endorsement. Attendance at 3 or more years of the Bridge Program Institute meets state requirements for the DLI Endorsement.
