Bridge Program - Advanced Language Pathway

Language Bridge Program courses are year-long classes for high school students in grades 10, 11, or 12 who have passed the AP exam with a score of 3 or higher.  The courses will ensure the opportunity for continued, uninterrupted instruction that builds language and cultural proficiency during these grades, including student participation in state-mandated language proficiency testing.  The course will help students reach the university prepared to take advantage of the literature, culture, and linguistic opportunities regularly offered and to advance their language proficiency to professional levels for use in a variety of careers.

To register for the Advanced Language Course, you must already be on your high school’s roster, and have passed the AP Language and Culture exam the previous year.  Please contact your home high school if you have questions regarding high school registration.  Students will register for this year’s Bridge Course on the 2nd day of class, Friday, August 19, with the help of their university and high school instructors.  Parent/Guardian and student must complete the following three forms online: a.) Student Contract, b.) Minor Liability Waiver and c.) Adult Liability Waiver.

For Granite School District, online forms must be completed by Friday, Sept.9.

The following forms need to be filled out in the event that you need to drop the Bridge Program course from your university schedule or withdraw from the course. Keep in mind that the University has strict deadlines fro dropping or withdrawing from courses.
