TESTS FOR: The WPT measures how well a person spontaneously writes in a language (without access to revisions and/or editing tools). ACTFL writing tests assess writing proficiency in terms of the ability to write effectively and appropriately for real-life writing purposes.

EXAM
CONFIRMATION
You will receive an auto email confirmation within 5 minutes after you submit the Google Form. If you don't see it in your inbox, please email l.ahyen@utah.edu. You will receive a final test date confirmation via outlook appointment calendar generally within 5 days. You must accept and confirm your date no later than 2 days prior to your test or it will be cancelled. If you fail to appear for your test, you or your department will be charged for this testing service.
Please allow 3-5 business days to process your appointment. Tests are available Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. We are closed on weekends and federal and school holidays.
ASSESSMENT RESULTS
Candidates will be able to see their own test ratings by going here, and entering the Username and Password they used to take the tests, which will be provided by L2TReC on the testing day.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, you do. The OPI must be proctored in person by L2TReC staff.
Arabic, English, French, German, Italian, Korean, Mandarin, Pashto, Persian Farsi, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish.
OPI certificates are available via email approximately 2-3 weeks. If you have not
received your certificate after 3 weeks, please contact us.
OPIc: You should be able to see your OPIc score via this link by entering your test login and password. On this site you will be able to view and
print your American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) certificates.
If you have any difficulty retrieving your certificates, you can contact ACTFL at: info@languagetesting.com or professionalprograms@actfl.org.

Yes. Special COVID Protocol: L2TReC will continue to proctor Oral Proficiency Interview by Computer (OPIc) tests only. All tests will be proctored via Zoom. Please do not register if this process will not work for you.
