About Our Learner Corpora
L2TReC is proud to present two continuously growing corpora of learner language, designed to enrich our understanding of second language acquisition: The Multilingual Corpus of Second Language Speech (MuSSeL) and the Corpus of Utah Dual Language Immersion (CUDLI). The MuSSeL corpus includes samples from three learning contexts (child immersion classroom, adult language classroom, and adult post-immersion) across five languages: Chinese, French, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish. CUDLI, on the other hand, focuses exclusively on the child immersion classrooms, documenting progress in Chinese, French, German, Portuguese, and Spanish.
