K-12 Enrollment in DLI and Bridge Programs - University Specific Languages and Enrollments
Students represented in these data visualizations are those that took a dual language immersion or Bridge course in K-12, and their subsequent umbrella universities, for 2012/13 to 2022/23 school years.
These visualizations show enrollments for the schools and districts that are supported by each university. All DLI and Bridge enrollments are under an umbrella of service for the respective universities. Bridge credits (grades 10-12) are assigned to the umbrella university where the student completes bridge language courses. These credits are transferable, depending on the university the student matriculates into, regardless of where the credits were earned.

As a part of higher education’s partnership with USBE to offer early college Concurrent Enrollment credit, the Utah Bridge Program focus is centered on supporting access to bilingual, biliterate, and bicultural citizenship, and meeting each student’s potential in college pathways.
