Given the persistence of the COVID-19 pandemic, the 8th International Conference on Immersion and Dual Language Education has found it necessary to reevaluate the feasibility of holding the Conference in March 2021.
After giving it much thought and considering dates of other conferences in our field, hotel availability, etc., we have decided to reschedule the conference for March 2-5, 2022.
Although we are saddened by this long delay and will miss seeing you in the spring, it seems prudent to wait until 2022 to ensure a safe and fully accessible conference.
The 8th International Conference on Immersion and Dual Language Education will be held March 2-5, 2022 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Inclusive of all languages, program models, and educational levels, the 2022 conference brings together researchers and practitioners from the U.S. and around the world to share knowledge, expertise and best practices in dual language and immersion education. The 2022 conference theme, “Embracing Languages and Cultures for A Better World,” represents its mission and key tenets: diversity of languages, collaboration and inclusivity, and equity.
Join us for pre-conference school visits and workshops, plenaries and symposia with leaders in immersion and dual language education, and a wide range of sessions.
