Boren Language Scholarship 
Are you interested in studying languages in Africa? The African Flagship Languages Initiative (AFLI), an initiative within the Boren Awards, provides funding to study African languages and cultures for the following languages: French and Wolof in Senegal, Portuguese in Mozambique, Swahili in Tanzania, Akan/Twi in Ghana and Zulu in South Africa. You will study in a domestic intensive language program at the University of Florida during the summer and spend the fall or the academic year overseas. Our application deadline for the 2016/17 academic year is February 9, 2016 for undergraduate students and January 28, 2016 for graduate students.
