Summer Spanish Teacher Workshop (3870 LNCO)
"Literature and Film: Contemporary Issues"
Faculty: Dr. Isabel Dulfano(Univeristy of Utah), Dr. Diego Batista (Weber State); Dr. Jorge Nisguritzer (Utah Valley University) and Dr. JP Escalante (Utah State University)
The Summer Teacher Workshops are university content workshops, taught in the target language, for all K-12 language teachers and Bridge Program instructors.
Workshops are designed for adults to engage in deeper cultural learning and in language practice. Topics and texts are based on the upcoming year’s 3000 level DLI/University Bridge Courses. Participants will read, analyze, and discuss various texts, film and artistic expression, and discuss ways to help students access and analyze ideas presented through these sources. Participants will explores ways to connect their students to cultural and community projects.
