If you have problems displaying the video below, use this link. You will need to enter a first and last name for the video to start.  Think how you could use this kind of tool in your language class (this activity is not 100% an activity to practice language skills, but it’s a valuable tool to become familiar with).

For your own workshop

Once you’ve established a time to meet self select into subgroups of instructors of novice, intermediate and advanced.  Try adding the first letter of the subgroup to your name in the video conferencing platform so that the facilitator can divide you into small groups.  For example for intermediate: I_Alba Girons. Remember to divide into groups of three or four participants so if there are eight instructors who teach novice students you should have two groups of novice.

Once divided into groups work together to design a portfolio using a shared document like this one on Google Docs, Padlet or another collaborative tool.

When the session is over, you should have a robust list of prompts and tools at your disposal based on the learning outcomes and skills you are seeking to accomplish with the students you teach.
